Join me for an unforgettable six-day journey through the wines, cuisine, and culture of Piedmont, one of Italy’s most celebrated wine regions. I’m thrilled to personally host this intimate adventure, with our home base in the historic city of Alba—the heart of the Langhe and an ideal starting point for exploring the legendary vineyards and villages of Barolo and Barbaresco.

   As Sommelier at L’Auberge Provençale, I’ve spent years sharing my passion for wine with our guests through tastings, pairings, cellar experiences, and private wine tours. This trip is an opportunity to take that experience on the road and explore Piedmont together—not simply as visitors, but as wine lovers eager to discover the people, places, traditions, and stories behind some of Italy’s greatest wines.

   Over the course of six days, we’ll visit exceptional wineries, explore charming Piedmontese towns and hillside villages, and enjoy wonderful regional restaurants showcasing the cuisine that makes this corner of Italy so special. Along the way, we’ll experience the remarkable wines of the Langhe, discover the character of Piedmontese food and culture, and enjoy experiences that go well beyond the typical tasting-room visit.

   Our time in Alba will also include a hands-on cooking class featuring regional specialties, as well as a fascinating journey beneath the streets of the city to discover the remains of ancient Alba Pompeia and the Roman history hidden below modern-day Alba.

​

   Just as important as where we go is how we’ll travel. Each departure will be limited to a maximum of only 12 guests, allowing us to keep the experience relaxed, personal, and flexible. Smaller groups give us the opportunity to visit wineries, restaurants, and special places that simply aren’t suited to large tour groups—and to enjoy the trip more like a group of friends traveling together through wine country.

   This will be an active and immersive experience. We’ll spend time walking through historic cobblestone streets, vineyards, hillside villages, stairs, and areas of uneven terrain, so guests should be comfortable being on their feet and walking for extended periods throughout the trip.

   With six days of extraordinary wine, memorable meals, history, spectacular scenery, and the chance to experience Piedmont together in a small group, I’m incredibly excited to share this journey with you.
